Slavery Compensation

I suspect the politicians involved in this action are not without cynical motivation but the action is interesting and addresses a hateful and unresolved legacy. I am also particularly keen to see whether this will have repercussions for Haiti – the article implies France acted with much more noble intent than I recall was the case.
